It's actually better we are casting a wide net vs. being uber myopic like we are in prior years. If this was a few years ago and not Phil we'd be interested in ONE person, either someone like Gasol who we couldn't get or Monroe.

Should've kept him and traded Melo last time.
The Knicks couldn't have been worse anyway.

As long as Lin goes to a team with competent PNR big men and shooters, Linsanity can be resurrected. I don't know if there's a team out there that have this and would give him a primary ballhandler role. There are 7 teams interested in him though so maybe he has a shot.

As a surprise to no one, he's been offered a max contract to resign with the Lakers. Scott lobbied hard for it and it's happening soon.

Jeremy Lin is highly intelligent and the perfect PG to play the triangle.

Knicks need other things before a PG.. any PG can run the triangle since they're basically spot up shooters...

lin isn't really a smart basketball player
he's the opposite of poised

Smart and poised is not really related.

You can be smart and not poised.

Lin is very smart but sometimes not poised.

No such thing as Linsanity when talking about Jeremy Lin. He has been so garbage after that stretch that any thoughts about resurrecting it again is only a dream.

You can have him for less provisions on the Lakers first round pick next year? No? How about a second rounder?

Honestly, I'd rather the rookie Grant thrown in as the starter and see what they get out of him.

He's a free agent. Not sure how you would trade him.
