Uh, no? It's not three players signing identical contracts with opt-outs the same year so they could join up years down the road.
Are you stupid? Or just being purposefully obtuse?

It seems like every time I check he's "leaning" in another direction. And depending on the source a certain team is ahead, or no one is ahead.
I understand he's going to do his due diligence so it'll be interesting.

This honestly makes no sense at all. I don't believe it until it happens. Dallas and San Antonio make much more sense. He's never been a big media guy. Reminds me of Dwight in the way I know he wouldn't like taking the tough questions if they Lakers fail.
Going to LA would make him a sellout and destroy any type of legacy that he could have built winning titles with the Spurs.

Just asking. I understand the actual definition of collusion. Of course, under the actual meaning of collusion, players could never actually collude.
Instead, I was just trying to confirm the ISH definition. ISH called Ray Allen signing with Miami collusion. Why isn't this "collusion" then?

It's called "due to the collective bargaining agreement at the time" players can't sign for the max until they have 7yrs in the league.
All 3 were smart and gave themselves that opportunity...... when re-signing prior deals.

Im shocked how poor a grasp on the concept of sports collusion it seems people have.
Players....CANT collude. Teams collude.
There is not now nor has there ever been a rule against players talking and deciding where to play...even when under contract.
Teams just cant talk to other teams players.
The players can do whatever they want.

True. If I was LMA I would call Marc Gasol and head to an Eastern conference team with cap room for both. If I was Hinkie I would offer Okafor, Saric, and all 4 2016 1st round picks for Lillard. Sign a couple 3 and D guys like Green and Carroll and they are set.

The players can do whatever they want. You're confusing tampering with colluding
teams talking to players that are contract to another team is tampering, and a big no no.
FA players working together behind the scenes to end up on the same team is colluding and technically not illegal although a player acting as an agent for the team he is under contract speaking to another player under contract on a different team to could/would be viewed as tampering if it could be proven.

Monroe is not a good fit next to LMA. LMA would have to carry the defense, and Aldridge is the better offensive player, so Monroe's talents on that end would go to waste. You want a defensive big next to LMA who can contribute adequately on O.

Hate how Twitter turns everyone into the next superstar reported who each tries to break news first. But no one ever points out the 99% of the time they are wrong. Anytime they hear anything from anyone they mention it...but really vaguely just to protect their own asses.
"I hear that..."
"Unnamed sources say.."
"It's possible that..."
"So and so is leaning towards...."
Nothing definitive. No one ever quoted. Just a bunch of possibilities. If they turn out to be right 1 time out of 100 they claim to break the news first and want followers. If they are wrong they can just blame the assistant secretary to the backup ball boy who thought he may have heard something.

He's a big man who needs 20 shots to average 23 ppg and plays average defense...what's so underrated about that? He has no business being featured in an offense like he was on the Blazers. He simply just doesn't have a max player impact in the end...so like I said, I'm all for the Lakers getting him lol.
I remember last year when the Blazers were playing the Rockets and he had those two big games early in the series and I was saying that once his jump shot stops falling that will end...and it did. He relies too much on that jumper. He's like a poor mans Dirk without the 3pter. (except Dirk could actually get to the ft line...which is another thing wrong with Aldridge...everything is away from the basket)

Once I heard that Aldridge was 30 (I thought he was 27), I totally changed my tune on him, and now view him more similarly to how you just described him, rather than as a max player and a franchise cornerstone.

I rather pass on Aldridge and let Randle develop this season cuz we arent doing much this season. Once Kobes contract expire next season , we will have a more developed Randle and D Angello plus no max contract to anyone at all.
