I think sex ed needs to be left to the parents at home. I don't want my kid thinking that two dudes sword fighting is 'normal'. Similarly, I don't want my kid to think using a condom prevents STD's (which is what I was taught at 13 in school).

Teachers cant even teach basic subjects correctly. Teachers cant teach math correctly. Look at US student scores compared to the rest of the world. They're garbage. Why would I want them teaching my child about something potentially fatal if done incorrectly (STD's and what not)?

We were introduced to sex-ed videos I think in like 5th grade. At the time, we all made fun of it.

Our health class in middle school made us watch a lot more sex-ed related videos. Then we could ask random anonymous questions on paper. Needless to say we would ask our teacher the weirdest questions in the world but she would still answer them and we would all try to hold in our laughter :lol

High school health class was more about anti-drug use.

But....I can see our school systems teaching us about homosexual sex and about transgenderism and showing kids how they cut your dick off. If they teach kids about heterosexual conception, they must teach kids about all the rest! We don't want to discriminate!

NY doesn't teach sexual positions. I'm not concerned you pulled one incredibly stupid locale and pointed that out. It's very basic here.

And i'm not dying or anything so ill teach my kids. My kids know some people are gay, they see it. They think it's strange but don't make fun. Because that's essentially me. Teach your kids.
