Usually winning cures everything but this SAC team is a mess. Normally I feel like players and coaches work through issues but this is irreversible.

Karl really wanted Cousins gone and this SAC front office has stood by its star player. I believe one or the other is going. Players have leverage.

they shouldn't have went with Karl. He's not going to be good for a young team with personalities like Cousins. I could honestly see Tyronn Lue or a young coach be a better fit for a team like SAc.

Would actually be the best move they could make.

Calipari has already tried once in the NBA with minimal success. I would be shocked if he wanted to leave Kentucky to coach the Kings.

Calipari already shot down the rumor. Said he was never offered a job with the Kings. Thread over.

I think Cal will go back to the NBA at some point down the road, but he'll be picking his spot and he sure as hell isn't going to a dumpster fire like the Kings.

He'd have gotten a hard look in Cleveland had LeBron gotten there before they hired Blatt.

In a couple seasons after the lockout drama is through and when guys like Durant and Westbrook are hitting FA I think we'll see Cal try his hand in the NBA again coaching one of these 'super teams', maybe Durant + Wall in DC or somewhere like that.

Kings:facepalm

It's like this owner has no concept of NBA history, but he still wants to run a team. Learn from other people's mistakes lol

He'd never do it.

He makes more money at UK then probably any nba coach makes now.

Plus Kentucky has state of the art facilities, far surpassing 99% of other college teams.

Why would he go anywhere else? What could any other team offer him?

He's pressuring Kentucky to give him more money by flirting with other teams.

Usual coach cal.. He's not like Nick Saban

Calipari's Twitter account. People are just spreading rumors to make it worse. Never happened but doesn't change that the crap story got out there and people are talking about it. I would think some of these are coming from the former GM Pete D. now in Denver. He's a little bitter.

Every year Cal is linked with NBA jobs and every year he says the same thing...

No NBA team will offer him more than what he makes at Kentucky. Plus he doesn't have to coach a shit team ever. He'll get the best of the best every year with minimal effort.

Pipe dreams for the Kings, and Cavs and Nets last season.

Then, this thread is over, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went on for more pages because people in here really like to talk about fake shit.

I agree. The only way I see Cal leaving is if UK finally gets caught for doing something against NCAA. Pete Carroll didn't bounce until USC was investigated heavily. I see Cal leaving in 3-4 years.
