Curry won MVP and the NBA title over Bran. He also received more All Star votes than Bran. Now this:

NBA announces Curry passed LeBron for most jersey sales. Klay Thompson ranks No. 5.

Now it's 100% official. Curry is the face of the NBA.

In 2006, Dwyane Wade led the Heat to win the championship while winning Finals MVP and leading the NBA in jersey sales. Meanwhile Kobe wasn't even top 3 in jersey sales and got bounced in the first round of the playoffs after leading the series 3-1. What a peak year by Gawdbe.

Everyone already has a LeBron jersey:coleman:

Kobe's been in the league since 1996 and has worn his current number since 2005, yet he's at #6. Doesn't it stand to reason that anyone who would want a Kobe jersey should in theory already have one?

Long story short, "everyone already has one" doesn't make sense, especially considering that that was Lebron's first season back with the Cavs. He should have sold more jerseys, but he didn't. Curry did.

Maybe it's the team? OKC may not be the best market. Well Curry just won a championship and GS has a pretty big and hungry fanbase. Chicago Bulls have a large fan base as well. I have to admit, I was surprised that Rose would be at #3. The guy is popular. Good for him because I really liked his game. I watched him play in College.

But Durant I don't know. It's got to be the team because his game is ridiculous. Klay at #5 is surprising.

Why is Rose as popular as he is? What is it about him? I just don't get it. You can't walk 5 blocks without seeing someone in a Rose jersey, and this a guy who hasn't been able to stay on the court in 4 years or so. That's surprising.
