CHA decided not to extend a qualifying offer to Biyombo, making him an UFA this summer. Because of his defensive potential, he could make a solid back up big man.

Where can you see him ending up? It wouldnt cost you too much.

He'll be backing up Timmy on the Spurs

I hope Miami looks at him. Birdman may not be on the team this season so we're going to need a backup center behind Whiteside.

I hope the Mavs obtain as the backup C to Jordan or Chandler. Not an offensive player at all, but he is a good rim protector. The Mavs need that for 48 minutes.

Last I saw him...uncanny ability to block shots. But he doesn't have great physical measurements aside from his reach and he does nothing else on the floor.

Decent backup center for any team that needs it.

Gonna miss Biz, especially the look of total surprise whenever he found the ball in his hands. He's hilarious to follow on Twitter btw.

He's only 22 and averages 12 boards and 3 blocks/36 minutes. He may be completely lost on offense still but I think he has some value.

With this move the Hornets also might have put together the single most unathletic frontcourt in modern NBA history this season :oldlol:

Sure, but for no more than $5-6 mil a year. He's an okay rebounder and can play a little D, but that's about it.

He's good at jumping around. Look how far that got Javale!

Send him back overseas. Young man ain't ready.

You aren't winning shit if one of your starters can't even catch a basketball

He'd be a good insurance plan for the Cavs. He'd be a lot better than Haywood/Perkins.

Any team that has no rim protectors coming off their bench could use this guy. An energy big who's mobile enough to hedge pretty far out on PnRs. Barely understands how to catch a bball on offense though haha.

I can easily see him getting a mini-MLE type contract.

The Clippers should get him. He's a rebounder and rim protector.

The Clippers should get him. He's a rebounder and rim protector.GM Doc can earn his money this summer by bringing back DJ, signing Biz to the mini-MLE, and convincing Pierce, Stuckey, and David West to sign for the minimum. Maybe 2 of those guys come over but it'd be an improvement.

No thanks, Upshaw and Black will do us just fine...as backups. Still need a starter, doe.

It's been explained over and over that before he was drafted all the teams in Spain said he was 6 years older than his listed birth date. This is common practice for players from Africa.

Hakeem
Mutombo

and so on.

Because they have totally different methods and standards of how they handle the records and when they record the date of birth.

But the NBA does not care about actually correcting these things.
