Chandler is what you are talking about...and that could go either way. I think the chance at getting a real star trumps Chandler there on a terrible contract.

The Odom signing was horrendous.
The Mayo signing was horrendous.

The Ellis signing and team in 14 was very good.
The trade to get Tyson back was very good.

The Parsons signing was awful...which caused the Rondo trade...which was awful.


Now, having said all of that...if Parsons swings Jordan and Wes in the coming days....not much anyone can complain about.

I'm hoping, but don't think it will happen.

Which is why I've been against this plan since last summer.

It made sense to go after big stars in 11 and 12...didn't make sense given our team after 14. We had a legit team that got even better with that Calderon for Chandler trade.

The tools were all there and we went for the big splash guy in Parsons.

Parsons in year 1 of his 2 for sure years in Dallas was a disaster. I will see how this next one plays out, but needless to say we are in a very dangerous place right now.
