Do you think NY and California teams are hurt by their states high income taxes?
Texas and florida teams benefit?
Should the NBA help make it more even by making up the difference or allowing the cap to be a after tax figure?

given how loose some of the players are with their money I don't think it's something they care a lot about

Teams in non tax paying states cap figures will be modified to balance the playing field. it's not a great amount since players get taxed when they play out of those states anyways but they are talking about it. NBPA wasn't behind the idea before and it's a monior talking point but new leadership sees it as something worth discussing

What about small market teams that have high state taxes, like Sacramento? Screw em, right?

About $18million worth of factor in Dwight's case.

He brought home the same amount of money in 4 years in Houston as he would have in 5 for the Lakers.

Just today Chicago passed a 'cloud' tax on streaming services.

Democrats (California, new York, Illinois, Michigan) love their taxes.
