Having watched the NBA since the earlier 90s I have to say, that in the new age, players get over hyped prematurely. Back in the day, this titled had to be earned. Now because of twitter and all these new social media, the hype train seems to exaggerate the value of modern players. A lot of these perimeter shooters would have got physically smashed with the 90s NBA, so this exaggerates shooting stats when compared to a different generation.
