On the issue of Wade, the Heat should cut their losses and rebuild. Let us be realistic, Wade has been fat and out of shape at times, he hasn't exactly been healthy and been flat out lazy at times. Time to move on Miami.

d wade has taken so many paycuts over the years, i heard today that he's never been the highest player on the heat. That is pretty nuts considering he is a finals MVP and one of the greatest heat players of all time. He deserves a little something from the front office IMO. He is already rich as hell and has endorsements, but please believe that the billionaire owner would take any opportunity he can to come up on some extra cash, i say pay the man.

If that is the case, then he should tell Riley where to go, and find some where else.

I can't see how any other team wants to sign him more that the Heat can pay. That said, i want to see him retire a Heat
he's good when he's on the court but he doesn't get 'on the court' too often enough to impact a run to championship

Well it's the same scenario like last year for him...he was a FA and no one even looked his way. They know the downfall that comes with Wade, and not many teams are willing to risk the cap space on him
I haven't heard that Wade has any scheduled meetings with non-Heat teams...only that the Lakers n Wade had mutual interest.
If the heat are willing, just front load him with the $23mil this yr and $10m per after...but they are not wanting to pay out the luxury tax either so it's just a mess.
Still say if we cant come to grounds with Wade, we have backup options in Lou Willams and even Monta, if he isn't picked up already, hopefully all sides win out how they want. I'm all for Wade retiring a Heat..,but not at the expense of the Heats future title runs due to an over-paid contract

Loyalty doesn't mean jack these days. Look what it has done to the Lakers they are going to be irrelevant for another decade because they have not parted ways with Kobe.
