right in between the shoulder blades, dead center, like that alien movie i can't remember the name of. this tick is either the stephen hawking of ticks and knows to get where people can't reach or got lucky as fukk. shit is freaking me out tho how he got me right dead center on the human weak spot.
i cut the lawn the other day and used a trimmer in the brushes where i probably picked it up and its been like 3~ days since so that asshole has been feeding on me for who knows how long. it was dead when i got it off, probably thru numerous showers, and ragg wiping back there, but still hard to get off so i assume its jaws were still stuck in my back.
now i'm all paranoid of lyme disease. i'm always so paranoid of ticks when i'm cutting the grass, can't believe this shit just happened

How does one know they have a tick in their body? Since it got into a place you can't see, did it hurt like hell? This is one reason why I get covered up in long sleeve when I am doing lawn duties.

Ticks are notorious for their ability to deposit numerous eggs underneath your skin. I'm afraid there's a chance you will never get rid of them. Pray that they don't hatch inside your bloodstream and disseminate to other parts of your body, in which case they'll never stop breeding inside of you.
Go to A&E asap.

nope, i did feel like a bite awhile back but i was thinking it was just a mosquito or something. otherwise didn't feel anything.
its unbelievable how it got me right dead center in the shoulder blades like it knew the best spot to be. thats reallly what freaks me out the most tbh :facepalm

Aren't you from SoCal? Your chances are probably a lot less than that. I'd be much more worried about mosquitoes and West Nile Virus, they say this might be the worst year ever for it.

Just keep an eye on it. If starts looking infected go get it checked out, otherwise I'm sure you're fine. Ticks are disgusting though, I get your uneasiness.

You should get tested immediately if the tick was on you for more than 48 hours.

Nothing to worry about.
Once inside the central nervous system, the organism can wreak all kinds of havoc, from memory problems, moodiness and depression to hallucinations, panic attacks, paranoia, manic depression, seizures and even dementia.

Lol, he does act like he has lyme disease.
Seriously though, I've worked in the field for over a decade and have known several people who've contracted it; it's no ****ing joke. Get tested.

My girl's mother just had to go through complete hip replacement after contracting Lyme and not being diagnosed for over a year. Among other things, Lyme can absolutely wreck your joints. Don't screw around with that stuff.

dude wtf? thats pretty gross.....do you not take showers?
Lol showers do not get rid of ticks.

well if you shower and actually wash your body, im sure you will feel the tick or knock it off your skin.
Negative.

They embed their head into your skin. Should be removed with tweezers. If you pull them off the head will remain in you, which can still transmit the disease.

You're lucky this didn't happen to you. A woman just had all her arms and legs amputated because of a tick. :(

damn :biggums:
luckily i can't have spotted fever but i'm 99% sure i got lyme disease. dumbass doctor i went to told me he didn't think i got it but its been weeks now of major fatigue that started like 2 days after the tick bite.
had to get a blood test this morning and going back to the doctor monday. i'm giving him a pass since i read lyme disease is hard to detect, and i don't really have many other symptoms other than a constant slight headache off and on, and the fatigue which has been noticeable since the bite. it feels like i'm always tired even when i wake up. only good thing is i pass out fast when i'm trying to go to bed.
anyways yep i'm vulnerable with lyme disease now so all the bitches can take their shots on me while i'm crippled :pimp:
