9 players on this roster are expected to make the regular season. Our final roster will look something like this.
Russell/Clarkson/Buycks
Bryant/Brown/Ellington
Young/Brown
Randle/Black/Nance Jr.
Hibbert/Stoudemire/Upshaw

Hopefully we get rid of sacre and kelly this summer. That looks like a pretty formidable team right there.

We seriously need a SF.

Just to be practical, while the Lakers have improved this off-season, let's not fool ourselves. They have a long way to go to be considered for a title. They may not even make the playoffs in a stacked western conference.

Making the playoffs alone would be wonderful, no one expects this squad to compete for a title right now the way it stands. Maybe we trade for a Pau Gasol-type impact player during the season :D

Russell/Clarkson/Bryant/Randle/Hibbert
Williams/J. Brown/Young/Black/Bass/Upshaw

Reserves: A. Brown/Nance Jr./Kelly/Sacre

That figures to be a pretty effective rotation. We have two 7'2" guys as rim protectors. As well as big bodies in bass, randle, and black to clog up the paint. Our interior defense and rebounding figure to be near the very top of the league. Defending out on the perimeter is to be determined. Clarkson will be great in that regard, and J. Brown and Bryant should hold their own. Swaggy P and Swaggy Lou and Swaggy Russell need to show me some toughness this year to complement all that swag.

Offensively we figure to be an elite scoring team, particularly in transition this year with all the young guards we will be featuring, and then throw in the x-factor of Randle and our offense should really be top flight. I'm thinking showtime is back.
