The 87-88 Celtics were on the decline, but it was arguably Bird's greatest regular season.

Bird averaged 29.9 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 6.1 apg, shot .527 from the field (and an eFG% of .556), with a TS% of .608.

McHale was hobbled, but he STILL put a 22.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg, .604 FG%, and a .656 TS%.

Parish hung a 14.3 ppg, 8.5 rpf, .589 FG%, and a .620 TS%.

They also had a near-the-end 7-2 Artis Gilmore playing some minutes, as well.

Not as great as their 86-87 numbers, to be sure, but still an ALL-TIME front-line.
