Lavine was the best catch and shoot player on the Wolves last year, even better than Martin.:pimp:

After seeing the strength that he has added so far during the scrimmage it is clear he is working his butt off. I'm actually half hopeful he will turn into a nice player now. And thank god he wont be playing PG this year. He was so dreadful playing PG.

Lavine is the most explosive player in the NBA right now with Westbrook. Just amazing explosion off the floor with unreal elevation. But his game is very raw. Of course the dunks will be there but if he wants to be something more than an athletic freak, he needs to work on his game. I don't think his feel for the game is that good. Looks more like an athlete trying to play the game. But I like him and hope he does well.

Honestly, right now if he just worked on his shot selection he would be a very good player. Ya, he'll need to add muscle and defense, but he can get anywhere on the court whenever he wants to. Also, surprisingly, he was the best catch and shoot player, by %, on the Wolves last year...even ahead of Kevin Martin:eek:

The guy can shoot the rock, but his shot selection is horrid right now.

Green is an all time great when it comes to in-game vertical and he's definitely right there. But he's turning 30 in 5 months while Zach just turned 20.

I am a sucker for raw athleticism so I'm a fan of Lavine. He's obviously got the talent to do great things. But he has to continue to dedicate himself to improving his game. But guy is just sick. Anytime your athleticism sticks out at the NBA level, you are a truly special athlete.
