Can't see it happening but hear me out here. Lawson can be had easily now with him having problems with Nuggets management and them drafting Emmanual Mudiay. Gallinari has been on the block for awhile now as well.

Mavs need to compete now with Dirk aging and they can't do that with a 3rd string PG starting for them. They also need a true PG to best utilize Deandre and get him lobs and dunks. We also don't know how Parsons will look after that ankle injury and plus he's been dealing with reoccurring back spasms for the last couple of years.

Mavs could do something like Parsons, Felton, future pick for Lawson, Gallinari, and Foye

Lawson
Matthews/Foye
Gallinari
Dirk
Deandre

Parsons is probably the main reason Jordan signed on, you really wanna upset DJ right off the bat?

that would be a dick move, but I'd be perfectly fine with it tbh.

I also forgot to mention that Lawson was only behind Harden in 3 point assists. He would have Matthews, Foye, Gallinari, Dirk who are all 38+ % 3pt shooters to pass to on the perimeter and then Jordan in the middle to do his thing.

Is Dirk going to play Point Forward?? Dallas needs a reputable PG in there otherwise it's going to be ugly.
