Why bother signing this guy? Just find a guy in the d-league and pay him the minimum. It's not like you're getting much more value with Williams.

He's not that bad, at 5 mil I'd say it's a fair deal, can't be worse than Shumpert and he's getting half what he made. Now if the cap went up 2 mil the Knicks sign one more guy at 5 and then use the room exception for w/e. So they don't have to fill their team with d-leaguers like they had last year.

Someone who's actually watched this guy give me a run a down on his game. Is he planned to start at the 4 next to Lopez and melo?

I actually like some of the moves the Knicks have made this week. Nothing groundbreaking, but quality moves nontheless.

You worded that incorrectly.

I also like a lot of what NYK is doing. They're clearly building towards the future by signing young players with some upside, or quality role players on a good team.

I still say they really should trade Melo to get some picks and/or more young players... but they have a legit shot at getting to the playoffs this season and, unless they're matched up against Chicago or Cleveland, would it be that unreal to see Melo catch fire and carry them to the second round?

Really just don't get how this guy didn't pan out. He still has freakish athleticism, but where did his shot go? He shot 57% from 3 in college.

Maybe Melo can help him, he became a much better 3pt shooter than his earlier years.
