To lose in the ECF next year, or lose in the finals?

which would sting less?

A Healthy Cavaliers team is the favorite team to win the NBA title next year.

I'd rather lose to a west powerhouse like the Spurs over some scrubs like the Bulls or Hawks

Finals. 2/6 is such a bad argument. LeBron is 2/12 anyways. Does it not count the 6 times he didn't make the finals? :lol

Wow, way to go.

Now can you answer the question?

OP doesn't know $hit about competitive basketball. I don't see a scrub teams like the Bulls or Hawks beating a Loveless and Irvingless Cavaliers in the playoffs.

depend on the way he plays, but it would be better for the CAVS to lose in the finals.

This thread again shows what's wrong with members in this forum. They mix up players rakings with team rankings.

Age is going to be an issue. Duncan might be too old for this $hit next season. The guy's been carrying the Spurs defense since 1997.

Kawhi is their best individual defender, but Timmy D is still anchoring their defense.

Now with West and LMA, they can play Duncan few minutes and keep him fresh. Hell Duncan might take a lot of games off in the regular season too. We've been saying the "age" thing for years, but Pop always finds a way. I think Parker is a bigger issue than Duncan. Do they still have Mills? I know CoJo left.

Losing to whatever pitiful Eastern Conference team makes the ECF would require a monumental choke from LeBron, so I'm pretty sure 2/7 is the favorable scenario here.

Hate to say it, but unfair as it seems ANOTHER loss in the Finals would sting more and be more memorable in most people's mind. You could pass off an ECF or earlier loss as a down year, like what you do with the Spurs when they lose early.

If the Thunder are healthy enough to make the Finals, they're going to be tough to beat. You got two MVP candidates. Is Delly going to guard Westbrook? :lol

Last time, Durant dropped a 30 point, 55% scoring performance on prime defensive Lebron.

I have seen this thread made every season dozens and dozens of times.

Someone should write a book: "To lose in the Finals, or earlier? The story of LeBron James". It would sell like crack.

Delly would foul out every single game if he were to guard WB.

He's a bench scrub anyway, and he'll never get minutes like he got this year ever again.

Fixed that for you. Not even has to Google it.

Dude went full james harden playoff mode in the first 2 games. If the other splash brother actually showed up in the finals they would of swept lebron. At the end results are results, they beat the best player in the world.

I don't care what other people say about you, but you're actually one of the more tolerable LeBron fans here.

Healthy Cavs definitely are the favorite team to win, props for sticking up to your dude while the rest are making excuses already.
