Pretty simple.
Lets have a discussion of how we see the top footballers entering this upcoming season.

I think after I have 20/30 votes, we'll move on to the next player.
We'll see how active this thread gets; I might adjust the total votes to more (or less). But I think we have a lot of big football fans.

You don't have to give a reason either; but I'm sure our picks will engage discussion.

#1 - Messi.

- Won the trifecta; as the best player on the team
- Was apart of the greatest goal scoring trio in football history (2nd greatest was him, Eto and Henry I believe)
- Consistent all year
- Most crucial moment for Barca was Messi's brilliance against their toughest opponent (Bayern in CL), IMO
- 1st or 2nd best goal scorer in the game
- Incredible play-maker; a game changer
- Best ball control
- Great precision with his shots

#1 - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

- I like his name. I like saying it
- He's fun to use in FIFA 14 and 15
- his hair is funky
- fast AF (arguably the fastest player in the world)

Ronaldo will decline very soon. Messi in a couple of years will also start to decline.

The path will be open for this man to elevate his game and take his rightful place as the best player in the world.

Sweggeh i know you are trolling but, Alexis is ONE year younger than Messi and his game depends more on pace and stamina.. so not only he doesnt have the talent to be the best player even if you write off Messi and CR, he will also decline sooner than Messi

To answer OP's question im going with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as well. He didnt lose in Copa America.

I know it's between Messi and CR; but this thread will get interesting after the top 5/6 players.

Come on boys, contribute don't troll. :(
