Looks like the heat are trying to make some cap room, and are willing to give up these two players for pennies, if that.

Who should take them? I can see PJ and the knicks considering Chalmers as a triangle PG.

Lakers will give you conditional 2nd round picks.

Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen are available for nothing, per several league sources, and the Heat have even put out Shabazz Napier feelers with an eye on carving out extra cap room next summer.

just going off this report

Makes sense. I could see several teams biting to get Chalmers as a back up.

Chalmers was a really good role player in 2012 and solid in 2013. He's gotten a little crazy since then. But he's better than most Heat fans (besides me of course) give him credit for. He's a solid backup guard if you can keep him from being out of control.

Good 3pt shooter, (especially from corners)until last year, can drive a bit, solid defender, really good at intercepting passes.

I really don't want him to leave as he's one of my favorite players but he's probably gone. He's been a Heat player for 7 years believe it or not.

LeBron should pick up Birdman

We'll trade Nick Young for them. He's as close to "nothing" as you can get.

That's $9.3M of nothing the Heat are trying to get rid of.

We'd give them Kostas Papanikolauo (unguaranteed next year) and a 2nd for Chalmers

I would imagine the Clippers would take anyone over 6'10 that can walk and chew gum at this point. Not sure if they have called up Candi Man, Sweetney or Elton Brand yet...

Actually that is possible, but I doubt Pat Riley would give Lebron James the satisfaction. Other than that I think that deal would have happened by now.

Knicks need both guys actually. Knicks need a back-up Center and Chalmers does shine from time to time.

Jazz could use both them and have the cap space to do it. Can't see them with Anderson though. Chalmers if he can hit the 3 ball again.

I still cheer for Bran but I do NOT want to see Rio go there.

This seems more like Heat don't want to deal with the luxury taxes that these two would incur by having them on the books this year and/or Riley wants to avoid dealing with their FA next summer. T

hey both expire next year, so not like they have to worry about them eating into their cap if they renounce them.
