People sleep on Summer League. The overall talent level is not that of an average NBA game but these dudes play harder and the games are intense. They're out playing defense, trying to block shots, plenty of fouls, guys aren't giving up anything.

Itisn't so much people sleep on summer league as summer league is a glorified AAU ball where people are out for themselves over the team.

After all, you have guys trying to get a team's attention o they can make the roster. So team chemistry isn't always there. Combne that with most guys playing together with each other for the first time.... and it can real ugly real quick.

Summer league teams have maybe three guys who will ever sniff an NBA roster and the rest are trash players. The games are pathetic.

Summer league is fun, most of these guys aren't NBA material but they are the closest thing to it

I really only like watching the Orlando league, because there is barely any crowd... It's just in a big gym
Because the camera is so close you can really hear the sounds of the game clear and really see how fast NBA ball is

I remember going to a summer league game in Long Beach ages ago; Bynum vs. Hakim Warrick. Bynum dunked all over him like four times that game. Fun stuff.
