They should have re-signed Chandler. They should have re-signed Ellis. Trade the pick for Marcus Morris and trade a future pick for Kyle O'Quinn. Sign Gary Neal. Re-sign Charlie V. Pick up Aaron Harrison.

Harris/Neal
Monta/Harrison
Parsons/Morris
Dirk/Charlie V
TC/O'Quinn

Not bad. Don't forget... some people proclaimed that starting five was the best team in the NBA before the Rondo trade.

He's a good owner because he's willing to spend money.

But he's been part of the Mavs brain trust that has failed miserably in building contending teams since 2003 both in terms of players and coaches (until Carlisle)

Before you look...how many years of Dirk's career do you think his team had a positive scoring differential without him on the court?

Dirk has made $200M+ over his career, I am sure he will be fine.

No one should feel sorry for millionaires that are nowhere ever close to being broke :coleman:

I feel bad for the miserable Mavs fans who get to watch Dirk's last years go to WASTE on a worthless bottom feeding team.

(laugh out loud)

I feel bad for those idiots.

It sucks for Dirk to end his HOF career on lottery team maybe he should retire or go to different team that's championship contender.
