Can't believe he's still playing. Didn't he come over at like 30 and been in the NBA for 10 years now?

Actually 27, not 30.

Even more amazed that he has only missed 9 games in his 8 year NBA career.

Great sign. Better be a veteran minimum though.

Can any Pacers fan (or anyone who watched him) chime in on how he looked last season.

I don't care about the boxscore numbers, can he still play effectively in the post?

He was great in the post. His problem is now defense. He has no lateral movement speed. He can take a charge if he gets lucky but that's about it.

There's a possibility one day the NBA can expand to Montreal. I doubt they'll expand to Mexico or Puerto Rico.

he's not quick but he's a good help defender who can challenge shots. probably still better in that regard than patrick patterson so there's your defensive upgrade :lol

Personally, I think Pat will start. Younger player and he's improved every year. He and JV have to step it up defensively.

Also, I think Masai might make another signing. Probably another PF or wing defender ?

He can still post, but he mainly shoots mid-range jumpers. But he's still pretty money from that range...His bad defense is overstated. He's an average defender. He knows where he's supposed to be, he's a smart player.

The only thing about last season is that when his jumper wasn't on, he was a bit of a liability. Good rebounder, averaging 7 rpg in 20 minutes. He does a lot of things that just don't stand out. But he communicates, he's a good teammate, doesn't commit stupid fouls. He's a good free throw shooter. He knows how to play. He's a good pickup. He can still run the floor despite his age. He runs the court very hard every play.
