I know a lot of these get made and are instantly shot down but i believe this deal would be beneficial for all teams involved, and i'll explain why individually.

CHICAGO RECEIVES:
Brandon Jennings (EXPIRING)
James Johnson (EXPIRING)

DETROIT RECEIVES:
Taj Gibson
2016 1st Round Draft Pick (BULLS)

TORONTO RECEIVES:
Tony Snell
E'Twaun Moore (EXPIRING)

Bulls get a legit point guard with scoring ability capable of exploding at any minute, will be a 6th man of the year candidate.
Also serves as insurance in case Derrick Rose gets injured again.

They also receives great perimeter defense guy in James Johnson, whom they originally drafted.
James Johnson would be a great fit because he can guard the top players in the league and allow Jimmy Butler to focus a little more energy in to offense.

Detroit Pistons lost their starting PF Greg Monroe, but they can easily replace him with Taj Gibson.
They already have Reggie Jackson, so they don't need Jennings anymore.
They also get a first round pick which is a pretty good package altogether for Jennings and his expiring contract.

The Toronto Raptors have the opportunity to trade their 28 year old defensive small forward for a promising shooter in Tony Snell plus an expiring E'twaun Moore who is also a very capable shooter.

Sucks to depart with JJ but the Raptors would definitely agree to this.

Always liked Snell and I probably see Moore getting waved.

Good trade if we get more picks instead of Taj. Pistons need a stretch 4 who can hit the 3, so Taj wouldn't be a fit.

Pistons want a stretch 4, not Taj. The coach wants Drummond to be the only big on the floor.

I wouldn't do that if I were Chicago or Toronto.

Chicago gives up two players from it's rotation and a pick, and gets two rotation pieces back, but neither start, and Johnson probably isn't as good a tweener forward as they already have in Mirotic (and I like Johnson).

And Toronto is starved for size. I imagine we'll see a lot of Johnson at PF this year. So I don't see them giving him up for two wings. Johnson may be a better player than Snell as it is.

Just my take on it.

I like JJ in Toronto, but Casey suddenly strapped him to the bench late in the season, so what's the point in having him. They should trade him for a late protected 1st.

Do you think he'll have the choice of sitting him this year? It just seems like without Amir, they'll have to play JJ a bunch more. Unless they want to go super small. Or runa ton of Val with Patrick Patterson which didn't seem to fit well.

Bulls need to be in win now mode. I don't want to run the risk of Rose blowing his knees again, and Jennings would be a perfect replacement since he provides MUCH needed scoring.

I'm not a Bulls fan but that doesn't mean I support raping them.

The best assets in order for all three teams are:
Taj
Bulls #1
Snell

So the Bulls give up the best three pieces in the trade for a bad player coming off a severe injury?

WTF is wrong with this place?

What? We have two stretch 4's already. Illyasova and Tolliver. What we need is a traditional 4 who has some semblance of an inside game - both offensive and defensive. Gibson would be great.

After Josh Smith was waved Jennings averaged 21.6 points and 6.3 assists on 45.8 percent shooting from the field and 44.6 from beyond the arc

He had a game with 37 points on 23 shots.

Jennings is 25, Taj is 30.

We need a insurance for Derrick Rose, while we already have Nikola Mirotic to eat up Taj's minutes.

That first round pick would be a super late 1st round pick. Like i said, we're in win now mode and I know Jennings would blow up with the green light on this team.

Let's not forget Jennings will be playing in a contract year and not only that but the cap is going up, he wants to get PAID.
