During the halftime interview with Larry, he wasn't asked about Johnson. He brought him up because he loves his game. They asked Larry if he would welcome a shootout with any of the summer league players. He said he's too old for that but he said he'd love to play against Stanley Johnson. To quote, "he just goes to the basket. He doesn't jump into guys looking for fouls, he tries to finish, he's a man".

He also called WCS a $100 million man:roll:

Old age might be starting to get to him.

This is news? Reggie Miller said the same thing during the NCAA Tournament, he basically said Stanley has Lebron's frame.

Are you ****ing stupid? WCS is going to be a multiple all-star, 10+ year career, with a DPOY award here or there.

Stanley Johnson at 18 years old with Team USA was 6'7", 243 lbs.
Lebron James at 18 came into the league 6'8, 240 lbs.

And I bet you 10 bucks Lebron was leaner, stronger and more athletic.

Larry said the exact same thing about a young Chris Webber, when team USA faced those NCAA players in 1992...

I mean, not that SL is a good measure of how he'll be in the NBA, but the kid is beasting already, and he's only going to get better.

Definitely in amazing shape and a great athlete for his age.

I don't think it's old age.
Ever since David Stern screwed the Pacers for the Malice in the Palace, he was never the same.

We did get screwed, you're right about that. Till this day I'm still glad Ron went up there and tried to beat the shit out that dude. His career turned out decent,lol...

You're happy for Ron? Amazing. He ruined the Pacers and then won a ring with the Fakers. It should not be safe for him to enter the state.

Nah, its all good. A dude throwing beer on you is some bs. He did what I felt a lot of players wish they could do which is run in the stands and beat the shit out of some disrespectful fan. He lost a season. We lost a season. But honestly, that was one of the seasons I enjoyed watching the most. We had to play really hard and still did much better than people expected. Jamal Tinsely, did his thing that year. I thought he'd be one of the best PG's in the league for years to come. I really did.

He's not very quick, but has a surprisingly good jump shot.

Yeah good midrange shooter. Kinda bad that he's not a good corner 3-point shooter and a terrible finisher at the rim.
