I can also use dumb logic...
Hondo was averaging 18/5/5 when Parish entered the league... Kobe averaged 8/2/1 the year Parish retired...

You dummy that is not at all what was said.
Christian Science Monitor - Jan 25, 1993
After the Celtics lost to the Magic, 113-94, Robert Parish said that in his 17- year career, only longtime Chicago Bulls star Artis Gilmore was physically stronger than O'Neal, but that Shaq was more athletic - "and that is a very scary thought," he said in mock seriousness.
Doesn't this also mean that he thought Shaq was stronger than Wilt?

Kareem missed Russell for a season and D.Robinson for a season. Had he had the right to play in the NBA since he was realistically able to, he could have faced even old Bob Pettit.

I remember when Cliff Robinson was the last guy to have played in the 80s in 2006/07 or so. Dude still started a game for the Nets aged 40 :lol

If Kareem had played just one more season, he would of played in four different decades. Anyone still around from the 90s draft has a shot to do that in the 2019-20 season. Can anyone do it?

To clarify, however, Parish made this claim in 1993, Shaq's rookie year. Although rookie Shaq was already huge and powerful in 93, he was significantly bigger, heavier and more muscular in his Laker years then his first few years with Orlando. So Parish wasn't facing Shaq at his full level of strength.
IMO, Shaq and Wilt are definitely on a comparable level of strength/size. Gilmore, strong as he was, was much smaller than either player and likely not as strong in absolute strength, although pound for pound he may have been stronger.

Not a fair comparison at at all.
1. The version of Gilmore that Parish saw was stronger than the version Wilt was throwing around in that video(Wilt only saw 22-23 yo Gilmore). Also Wilt was a lot stronger in those Laker years than he was in most of his prime years.
2. The version of Shaq Parish was talking about when he made that statement was rookie Shaq who was basically just a kid at 20 years old. 28-35 year old Shaq is stronger than Gilmore by quite a bit, if you can't see that, then I don't know what to say.
Old Shaq > Old Wilt > Old Gilmore > Young Shaq > Young Wilt > Young Gilmore in terms of strength.
Men are usually at their strongest after their quickness starts to decline.
