So he's getting more votes than Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, and Klay Thompson?

Maybe on the Freshmen vs Sophomore game.

kobe will be a forward this year but yeah JC has a very limited ceiling. on a good team he's the 3rd guard of a 3 guard rotation

:oldlol:

I like Clarkson. However, he's not going to be an All-Star.

Clarkson got some shine on a horrible Lakers team last season. I'm sure that shine is going to dwindle when Kobe comes back into the starting lineup. Not to mention, once teams start to game plan for him, he could get exposed.

Not trying to sound like the guy is a scrub. I'm just saying that there are too many factors that aren't accounted for to predict this guy will be an All-Star next season. If he does, that would be one of the biggest surprises of the 2016 NBA season. Also, the Lakers would be salivating over having another valuable trade asset.

JC has all star potential, not preinial all stall but random all star for a couple years.

Similar to David West

An NBA second string guard is an all star? Well he's a starter on the lakers that doesn't say much.

Care to make a bet on it?

No? That's what I thought.

Didn't take long for another stupid laker thread to prove me right.

I'll make you a bet:

Lakers make the WCF at least.

Over who? Name me one ****ing guard in the West, hell, the East that he makes it over. One. Just one.

If it's based on merit? Kobe Bryant.

You're making this prediction off a summer league game?

On a real note, he certainly has potential.

How many all stars outside of rookies played summer league in the same season?

And Norman Powell has Dwayne Wade potential according to another bi-polar forum.

Whatever. It's not like I'm going to expect something realistic out of you guys.

Jeremy Lin was killing it in ny till Miami Heat trapped him and exposed him big time. An all star is an all star because they give u 20 and 10 even if u plan to stop them e.g bron, kd, melo etc. others can give u 45 points every second game but the opponents team will give u 60points if it means u losing still. Remember when miami just let rondo have the open high post shots and rondo ended up having 40+ points and still losing?

I said that a couple weeks ago that Clarkson has incredible potential and this forum and laker "fans" dropped the hammer on me.

Clarkson can ball and will one day be an all star.

He has potential but still kinda sloppy. Let's wait til he gets to at least Jamal Crawford's level first.

Lol. Dafuq? I could argue that quite a few guys in the NBA can play the way J Craw plays. Reserve energy on defense to dribble the shit clock down on offense.

He had 23 and 2 in a loss tonight in summer league against d-league level talent.

The starting pg for the Wolves (lavine) dropped 24 and 6 in a win against Clarkson and the Lakers tonight.

You guys, Clarkson is a good player, but has zero chance of ever being an all-star. Zero.
