He's my picked to win this award this year. He's having a great summer league. I hope he ends up as the next Blake Griffin.
22 ppg, 12 rpg, 2.7 apg.

Anthony randolph put 30ppg and 10rpg on like 60% back when he was a sophomore too. Summer league dont mean shit.

Summer League is funny. If you do good, people will just say it's because you're playing in Summer League. If you do bad, people will say you suck because you can't even play good versus sub-par players in Summer League.
That being said, Aaron Gordon isn't going to be another Blake Griffin. However, he has a chance to be a good NBA player. If he can get through a full 82 games, without a serious injury, that will work wonders for his improvement.

Doesn't even matter to me what his stats said. He looks much improved. People forget how young he is. He's younger than most players in this year's draft. He is STILL 19. Great thread.

Hennigan sees him as a 3/4
Gordon sees himself as a 3/4
But RTC sees him as a 4. Well shit I guess they are both wrong.

Gordon and Blake are different. Gordon will be a SFWith the way the league is trending, I see AG playing a LOT of minutes at PF. He has the quickness to guard 3s, but offensively I think he's more useful as a 4.
If he develops a killer catch-and-shoot game, he can play SF. Even Marion's best years were with him playing PF a bunch, right? Maybe I'm mixing up those Suns teams now. I think AG should model his game as a combo of Draymond & Matrix. He'll make a ton of money doing that.

Gordon will be a draymond style pf. And he won't be mip they don't give it to second year guys who missed half the season and played small minutes

Gordon is a much better defender and a limited offensive play. Basically the opposite of Blake.

People are basing this on summer league. If he keeps improving at this rate he could match blake. Remember he is still 19 and would still be young in this draft class

Never understood the Blake Griffin comparisons.
I have always thought he compared more with Josh Smith.

I think he'll get it if he starts. He had minimal playing time when he was healthy last season. I think he'll bud into one of Orlando's top players this season.
