He drafted Myles Turner as the 11th overall pick, and Joe Young as the 43rd overall pick. These 2 guys are having a great summer league.

They are getting their numbers, but they are shooting over 60% from the field.

I don't know what is more embarrassing Larry Bird not giving Kawhi a chance or even noticing his potential or Bird sympathizers like Jalen Rose giving him a pass

In fact Jalen Rose the other day, sweating and breathing hard from riding Bird's **** before the Jalen & Jacoby podcast, actually said that it was a good move for both sides as the Pacers really needed someone like Hill at the time. LMFAO

Bird is a good coach, decent GM, and above average evaluator of talent yet letting Kawhi slip thru his hands while inexcusable is not as bad as some other GM's mistakes, passing up Drummond, drafting Darko / Anthony Bennett

Kawhi probably wouldn't turn out that good if he stayed with the Pacers

Granger lol. Give me flashback of Portland passing up Jordan because they have Clyde except Clyde is three times the player that Granger is.

If this is Kawhi Leonard's peak then he's not even better than Paul George's peak. Let's not forget he's playing in a system offense that enhances the abilities of role players.

Peak Kawhi hasn't even made an All-Star team, compared to Danny Granger who was an All-Star the same season he won Most Improved Player.

People forget Granger statistically peaked at 25/5/2/1/1 and led his team to the Playoffs twice before his career altering injury. Honestly, could Kawhi Leonard do either of those things, even in the Eastern Conference.

George Hill has made the Conference Semi-Finals every season he was with the Pacers except the most recent one, his contribution to the team is clearly underrated.

If you idiots are comparing Kawhi Leonard vs. George Hill then you idiots forgot how bad Kawhi's offense was before the Spurs trainers got to him. If he stayed a Pacer he probably would never had become the shooter his is today.

I'm not panning or defending Bird but no GM gets everything right whether it's drafting or trading. I mean if the league didn't void it, Riley would have signed Juwan Howard to a $103 million contract. Yes, that Juwan Howard. So yeah, no one bats .1000 as a GM. People miss all the time. It's hardly an exact science.
