Since it's summer league time, I thought it would be appropriate to post this. Those skills at only 17 years old:eek:

People cheapen Kobe's success by attributing it to a "killer instinct." He definitely has a killer instinct, but more importantly, he has the shot-creating, one-on-one skillset and athleticism to dominate defenders.

Literally no one cheapens his success with that. It augments his success, it doesn't take away from everything else that made him great.

They definitely cheapen his skillet by mentioning his Killer Instinct instead of his immense shot creating talent and mastery of offensive fundamentals.
I posted that video the other day to point out just how advanced Kobe Bryant was from day one, its really hard to be that polished as a scorer early on. The only other player in recent memory that had that complete scoring polish so early is Kyrie Irving.
When people compared A. Wiggins to Kobe (yeah people really did that, even recently) they say that he has all of the tools but he only lacks a "killer instinct." That's pretty lazy in my opinion. What Wiggins truly lacks is the fluidity and one-on-one skills of a great guard like Kobe, TMac, Iverson, Jordan ... etc.

This is just nasty! Imagine if we saw someone beasting like this in the summer league today? People would actually be talking GOAT level hype. It puts into perspectives all these "players of the future" in today's league. NBA needs more transcendent talents or there's gonna be an extremely weak league soon.

Imagine if he had played college ball. Probably would have put up 40/5/5 on 60%
