Highly doubt prison guards are remotely capable of building a tunnel that elaborate. Most likely he shelled out millions to some high level engineers to have this done from the outside in..

That's what I was thinking when I initially saw the report that El Chapo had publicly threatened The Donald. Further investigation showed that it is probably BS, but let's say for arguments sake that it actually El Chapo doing the threatening...

Everyone seems to be sort of laughing it off, but that's not something I would take lightly if I'm Donald Trump. If El Chapo puts a price on your head, I don't care who you are... you should be concerned. Trump talks tough with his phony machismo act, but El Chapo is very rich, not due to inhereted wealth, building skyscrapers or hosting stupid game-shows, but... because he's really good at killing people and having people killed.

This target would be pretty hard to miss...

Yeah, and it's not like El Chapo wouldn't do it either, he's already one of the world's most sought after criminals with a history of having people murdered left and right, (it's not like he'd give a shit if people knew he sent the sicarios after Trump), if he really wanted Trump's head, he'd have it, pretty easily too. If Trump were smart, he'd shut the fvck up, just to be on the safe side :lol

Great article on the amount of money the Cartels have. I mean, its not even fathomable. If the Cartels and that sort of thing interest you, this is well worth the (rather long) read.

[QUOTE]It might seem far-fetched that the cartel would try to assassinate one of its own, the son of Mayo Zambada, no less. But Sinaloa guards its secrets ruthlessly. After Chapo’s friend Miguel Angel Mart

I have been reading some books and a few blogs about whats going on with the cartels and the one thing that strikes me is there doesn't seem to be any real smart guys involved. Just a bunch of ruthless street guys or hillbillies making enough money to kill or buy enough people to stay alive for a little while till they get eaten by the machine they perpetuate. Cunning would be about the best word I can come up with describe them. Would not surprise me to find that at the very top there are people making money and giving directions that are smart and stay under the radar. If those type people exist they will be the ones dropping a dime on people who threaten their position by poking the bear.

The corruption goes so deep its like a different plane of reality. When you dig into the stuff thats been going on down there for years its amazing.

If you read the article you would have known how much ingenuity it takes to smuggle drugs. The Sinaloan Cartel has a logistical network that outshines that of Amazons or FedEx. Boats, trains, airplanes, submarines, tunnels, ships, catapults, etc.

There's even a qoute from a DEA agent "we've got the best fence money can buy and these guys are using a 2,500 year old technology to beat us" - that is, they were using a catapult to smuggle drugs across the border.

I'd say it takes a lot of brains to develop such a vast network and adapt to homeland securitys new roadblocks.

A movie based on el Chapo would be far more interesting

When he was in prison at Puente Grande, he was able to order his food from the menu, do business with the cellphones, hire escorts to fk.... And doing all that in one of the highest prison in Mexico.

Now, he just "escaped" from the maximum security prison in Mexico.

No, because American government corruption is worse, it creates wars around the world. Read a book sometime :facepalm
