It's truly unfortunate that he has to play for a degenerate franchise like Denver. The mockery of the league.

He seems like he has great game sense (impressive for a rookie) and a nice shooting and around the rim touch. He handled the double team trap like a pro @ around 1:11 in the vid. I also like that he makes good decisions and he makes them quickly like on broken plays. Great prospect but Denver has to get their act together and stop smoking week.

Mudiay goes 11/5/4 on 5 for 15 shooting - Guy is a star

Russell goes 14/3/8 on 4 for 15 shooting - Guy is a bust

I never said he was a bust

Mudiay only had 2 turnovers, compared to Russell's 7 I belive.

That's the reason people were more critical of his game

Numbers are pretty useless in SL. SL itself is pretty useless for the most part. More about the eye test IMO. Watching what guys can do physically against NBA comp/fringe NBA comp. For example I doubt Mudiay looks for his outside shot that much. Considering that's his biggest weakness it makes sense to get some in game looks at the 3 during SL.

Russell also had 7 turnovers vs 3 assists tho. Anybody calling somebody a bust because of SL is probably somebody you shouldn't take serious.

That's actually better than I would have thought. Figured it'd be filled with more brutal players.

Lawson
Aldridge
Howard
Roy
Louis Williams
Derozan
Barea

7/17 players on that list are legit NBA players. Some All-Star caliber players too. Remove the older players from that 17 that just dominate due to experience. Tucker/Smith/Jones who are all 24 or older. Now your at 7/14 players. Bayless could probably be in that list of 7. Randolph had lots of potential and just didn't put things together.

Summer league is meaningless still and can't be a bust because of it but figured that list would have be filled with Seth Curry like players. I don't even remember Lawson being a stand out and I probably watched those games.
