Shane GOAT Battier, LeBron and co. would give those guys hell on the perimeter defensively. Heat in 6.

No one can guard AMC, he will score 40+

Warriors D can force Wade and James into jumpers

Warriors in 5

Warriors aren't stopping 2012 LeBron. Not a chance.

AMC would get ****ing wrecked by Miami's trapping style defense. Not to mention excellent pick and roll defense.

Imagine all the turnovers... If 2015 Cleveland could make Curry go 1:1 in turnovers and assists

Then I fret how many TO's 2012 Miami would have caused him to cough up

They'd trap and switch everything. Curry can't even pass over Delly in traps consistently. The length and athleticism of a 27 yr old LeBron, Battier, Bosh, Wade and co would give him even more TOV than he did against the Cavs.

Imagine how many Lebron lane pick offs and fastbreak jams he would get. Especially with Curry and his overly fancy passing

Not to mention Chalmers and Cole were also helpful perimeter defenders.

The 2012 Miami Heat is probably the best team in recent history to combat Golden State's small ball lineup.

Mario Chalmers on Harrison Barnes
Dwyane Wade on Stephen Curry
Lebron James on Andre Iguodala/Klay Thompson
Shane Battier on Klay Thompson/Andre Igudala
Chris Bosh on Draymond Green

The Heat are the closest thing to the MJ Bulls in terms of how they won. Athleticism at the 2, 3 and 4. In other words, the bodies that cover the floor the most were athletic as hell. Both teams could suffocate you defensively in stretches.

Peak Bron, slightly past prime Wade and Bosh is an all time great team.

Yeah 2012 Heat would match up quite well. LeBron was soooooo much better in 2012. Plus Wade was still a superstar, albeit injury plagued which often hampered him. Then you had Bosh a fantastic 3rd option who was a mobile defender and a great jump shooter. Then you had Chalmers, who had a career year and averaged ~11-12 PPG in the playoffs, doing an admirable job when Bosh was injured. Finally, Miller and Battier were dangerous, if erratic 3PT shooters. Not to mention Udonis Haslem was still a good role player at this point in time.

:biggums: Doubt it. '12 Heat played the small ball to counter GS. Plus you have Wade and Labron capitalizing on BMC's turnovers.

It would be a massacre actually. Dat perimeter D would suffocate the wings just as Rose got shut down all those years.

The Heat version that won that 2nd all time win streak was beast. Would murder GSW. I mean if that Cavs version took 2 games off GSW...

Heat in 4, maybe 5, depending on if they eek out a close one like OKC did in 2012.

Lol @ retroactively giving Lebron and the heat credit for a series that didn't happen. Lol. Kinda desperate.

Serious note, Wade would murk Klay Thompson. I think that's the only clear mismatch.

2012 Lebron and a top 10 player still in Wade.... Heat in 6.

2012 Lebron was able to play defensive at high level due to not having to dominate scoring.

Bosh forces Green out the paint which leaves penetration.

Wouldve been just as lopsided as 2012 vs thunder, if not worse. Unless of course Bosh/Wade are out with injuries. Then Warriors in 6.

This isn't even a discussion Heat would destroy them.
A better one would be 2012 OKC vs 2015 Warriors. Even then I'd pick OKC, who's stopping KD? And Westbrook makes Steph look like Riley Curry.

12' & 13' Heat would win.
Their defense was too strong those years and Wade/James were superstars.
Plus Bosh was better than anyone on GS not named Curry.

Miami in 5, or 4. I'd be shocked if GS can pull off a game 6.
