I don't think he has the handle to be like them but he bring a lot of intangible on defense because of his length, athleticism and high motor.

You realize he is only 19. His handle will develop over time. You think Durant or Dirk had a pg handle at 19? Knick haters are in suffer mode right now, because they are coming to the realization that Jax hit on dynamite and I loveeeeeee ittttt

Don't hate the Knicks. I actually want them to do well. If he can develop and be able to handle the rock then he will be a handful for anyone. But I just don't see it.

No offense, because you seem calm, cool and collected and rational too. BUT all the NBA scouts think he has the most talent and upside of any of the draft picks... WHY dont you see it? Did you watch him play in Europe? Did you attend his workout like the other NBA scouts and gm's?
Please tell me your pedigree so I can take you seriously, thank you.

I want to see him do well. A one-two punch of Melo and Porgy could be just what the Knicks need to compete again.

Worthy was a freak too. Probably had the closest body to LeBron in terms of size, strength and speed who could both shoot and handle the rock.

I think there's a few posters here who should realize that Zinger was brought in for his offense. This is why Lopez was signed and Acy was kept. You have a tall kid like this roaming the perimeter with a smooth stroke - he could cause some headaches to opposition. He won't be asked to risk injuries with rebounds, although he'll block a few shots.
Take a better look...

they both had great handles at a young age

Dirk did not have better handles than Porz at 19.

He isn't Dirk or Darko or Durant but imo he has a chance to be the best player in this draft class. If he was american and player college ball I think he would have been the number 2 pick.

If he busts i won't blame Phil for the pick, if he turns out to be a franchise player i won't be putting Phil on the shoulders also, it was the logical pick.

This. If he busts and Hezonja or Mudiay become good players people will laugh at the pick in 15 years but honestly he has upside I don't think you can pass on.
