Okafor or a possible trade for cousin
Randle
Young
Kobe
Jc

Your front office mess up by doing wrong decisions, lakers fans are in suicide watch
And you get a garbage can as your center atleast the knicks drafted a potential one

Will these haters get through the the all-star break without drowning in their own idiocy?

After 3 SL games he is already a garbage can?

This is unreal stupidity (with a touch of Laker hate underneath).

Give it time, His game will mature and who knows what FA bigs Lakers get in next couple seasons

As far as Randle goes he's playing in only his second game since last years summer league and only got clearance to play 5 on 5 a few days before the summer league practice started so he's bound to look rusty as anyone would... even more so at such a young age where they lack real experience anyways, he's effectively a rookie who took a year off of basketball

For Russell he's a passing first PG which requires a certain level of chemistry/knowledge of a system and your teammates, a knowledge he has yet to gain as witnessed by the number of passes that go sailing by his teammates untouched...

The Russell you see right now or the Randle you see right now will not be the same guys you see when they have a 30 day training camp under their belts...

People are trolling that minority...majority? Of the dumb Laker fans that thought he was going to be hugely impacting and turn into a HOF PG instantaneously.

I prefer to give guys like this at least the following off-season. There's several stars in today's league that can be pointed at, like, Harden and Curry for example. These guys needed a few seasons and now look at them. It's alright, it's ok. So what if Okafor impacts early, or whatever. If Russell goes the whole year without any flashes of brilliance... Then well, then you can start worrying.

PGs are always slower to develop than bigs as it's a much tougher position to master

what do you expect kobe's effect to be on his development next season, considering the game you just described for barksdale is polar opposite to kobe's ball in the hoops mentality?

people overreacting over summer league...smh

let's see him play an actual NBA game first...to me he's looked way too relaxed in these games while other guys who are fighting for a roster spot are going 100...

things we know for sure

- needs to work on his body, not too NBA ready to play as a starting point guard
- jump shot is a little slow/not enough lift

He does have elite qualities for a point guard when you look at his passing/playmaking ability and his handles, he has the potential and just because he has a few bad games during the summer against guys with NBA experience doesn't mean you can dub him a bust.

Lots of guys who had epic summer leagues ended up being garbage in the NBA and guys who looked disappointing in summer leagues have gone on to have great NBA careers. It's just too way small of a sample size.

Jordan Clarkson was garbage in his first 20 NBA games with the minutes he was given and started beasting when he was given the starting role and made the all-rookie 1st team...no one gave a damn about JC and people still doubted him after his great run the 2nd half of the season... now all of a sudden he's a Westbrook clone because people have already chosen D'Angelo as the next Laker player to hate.

Can't wait to see D'Alphalo prove these haters and Laker fans wrong.

I'm still a believer of the kid. I still see superstar potential in him.

I'll wait till at least all star break to gauge how he's going, pretty rough hating on the guy after 3 scrimmage shit sessions with a new team.
Even midway is pretty soon but I think by then he should at least show flashes of what he's capable of.

It's hard watching okafor and knowing we could have had a beast down low to throw the ball to:oldlol:

Kobe's definitely a stringer type of n99a, dee's gonna be screaming at him in tears asking about wallace by the end of first practice

 at The Wire reference

Kobe's gonna bust his ass and make him stronger mentally, kid is too relaxed out there, stupid turnovers that could easily be avoided if he focused enough

they need to bring Nash on the coaching staff to mentor the kid, Steve did wonders with JC.
