Try 3-5 months when the new iPhone comes out. By 3 years there would be been at least 3 iPhones released and I wouldn't expect a guy who spent 7.3Gs on one would let that many iPhones pass by without purchasing.

Oh, I'm in total agreement with you, I just think guys are bound to splurge from time to time. I do hope he's putting away a big chunk of his money, investing wisely.
