Look at Luigi's per-36 numbers last season:
18.1ppg 5rpg, 1.6apg 1.2bgg shooting 48% and 45% from 3 (on 7.9 attempts)
Pretty good looking to me. His first season numbers were similar.
Obviously he was playing against second units often, but it surprises me he didn't get more run.

Another Euro MVP comes to the NBA, sucks ass, then puts his tail between his legs and runs home.
Same old story.
Prior to signing on with the Pistons in 2013, Datome was the MVP of the Lega Basket Serie A averaging 16.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 2012.

PM'd Jeff to have you banned. Once again you are lying and calling someone an MVP when he never won that award and I know you are being totally serious and not making a joke because no one ever makes jokes on internet message boards. The MVP award he is listed as winning is actually an award for the best hair cut and no one except for the officials involved with that league actually call it an MVP award and if you cite any sources you are still wrong because I know more about the award than any official source on the internet.

what a shame. he was getting some good minutes towards the end of the season as his performance improved. good player who had an enduring time in Detroit before getting playing time in Boston.. I hope he does well in turkey!

Yeah I liked him on the Celtics. Was hoping they'd hang onto him.
Liked him with the Celtics but with all the younger pieces he was the odd man out. He became a fan fave in his short time in green and I feel his shooting could keep him in the league but 8 mill is hard to pass up
