Is it too hard to use tasers, or any other non lethal force? They are standing right there unarmed, not doing shit. Cops straight outta GTA.

Deadly force wasn't necessary but he didn't follow basic instructions. The shooting probably was justified, although live ammunition probably isn't always the most optimal. Taser would have been great, but at the same time, there are 3 suspects you have to look out for, so taser isn't really an option if all 3 decide to charge you.

Was the guy who took off his hat the one that died, or the other one that actually followed the instructions behind him?

What justified shooting the man in the white shirt that was standing there with his hands up? Is it ok for cops to open fire on a person with a group of innocent people standing around?

Also did you get the chance to watch the 2nd angle in that video starting at 1:10? What in your opinion justifies shooting down a drunk guy who can barely keep his balance because he took his hat off and made no reaching movement for his pocket whatsoever?

The guy who got shot was the one who called the cops. Our police got a problem with escalating everything. They got military equipment with none of the required training

 Nobody is signing up to become a cop to use a taser when you can just pull out your gun without any more consequences. If it was for the taser then might as well get the training to become a mall security

Why do people have such a problem with simply holding their hands up? Why would you need to fcuk around with your hat and start doing sketchy motions?

the guy was drunk and simply took his hat off...he was no threat to the cop whatsoever and didnt do any sketchy motions to warrant the cops to open fire.

its crazy how in those threads where the cops are clearly in the wrong you always see some guys still defending them. Its actually baffling. By the way the city in which this incident took place was trying to prevent the release of this footage until the judge ordered otherwise.
