Its not a big deal. Demarcus Cousins led the league in getting blocked. Thats how it is when you are a post player

And he doesn't rely on post play he is more versatile...that said Okafor will be an all star sooner then later just not a HOF superstar type of player imo.

Tim Duncan gets blocked a lot too. He's known for his ability to convert plays after being denied multiple times.

Okafor will need to change parts of his game to succeed in the NBA, of course, but we shouldn't read too much into stats like those.

His tools are just fine for an NBA center, and his talent is off the charts. The key for him will always be work ethic, toughness, and effort. That will determine whether he becomes a complete player or settles into an easy career as a gifted underachiever who's simply too good not to get a big fat paycheck in the league.
