Arenas
Camelo
Iverson
Kobe
Westbrook

Assume all in their primes, and you do not know what the team around them will look like. You have one season and you want to get a high seed and then make a playoff run.

For me I think I go:

Iverson
Arenas
Kobe
Westbrook
Carnelo

What order u got?

Interesting. I'm surprised so many are taking Carelo over Arenas.

Even besides your Kobe trolling, how could you possibly put Arenas 2nd. Dude won one playoff series his entire career, and played terribly in a sweep the only time he got out of the first round

In other words he achieved more than Kobe ever has without Shaq and Pau? Did Arenas ever play with a Shaq or a Pau in his prime?

I dont judge individuals by what teams accomplish, so that's not how I made my list. And any player can have a bad series.

I'm simply ranking guys by what kind of weapon they were at their peak and the likelyhood of getting impact out of them for one season.

And what is this about Kobe trolling? I didnt claim these guys had similar resumes. Do you really think Kobe has a head and shoulders greater impact than those guys on an indivual game-by-game basis? Those are hof'ers and/or all-nba players. In their prime they all can do the same things kobe did.

Kobe is obviously number 1. '05-'06 Kobe is a nightmare for anyone and everyone averaging 35ppg. Not to mention, he has the 5 championships and 2 Finals MVPs to back it up.

Iverson is number 2. Led his team to the Finals as the number 1 option and that's something everyone on that list, besides Kobe, has not done yet. Westbrook was 2nd to Durant in their 2012 Finals run. Also, peak Iverson averaging 33ppg.

So, in my opinion, Kobe and Iverson in another tier all together from that group of players.

That being said, Melo, Westbrook, and Arenas all pretty much fit in the same category. Neither one of these players managed to lead their teams to the Finals. However, they all have great individual numbers. If I were to rank them, it would be Melo, Westbrook, then Arenas.

The impact data from Bryant's prime does say he was head and shoulders above these guys. :oldlol:

Is that the data about the team winning at a higher percentage when he takes fewer shots? Ive seen that. It's interesting, I'm not sure exactly what it says for Kobe tho..
