I'm going based off reality.

They will win a max of 35 wins if everyone stays healthy.

Kobe can't even stay on the court anymore so he'll probably have another season ending injury again. So probably another 20 win season, lmao.

Such a garbage team and franchise.

If Kobe is any kind of playing condition he is going for that all time scoring title. These young guys will be sacrificial lambs.

Otherwise I'm not sure how this team will perform. You have a mixture of new guys and mediocre to okay vets. I don't see a whole lot coming together this year unfortunately. Stranger things have happened though.

I'm not sure which one of these 3 is funniest...that Kobe has a chance at sniffing 1st team all nba (or 3rd for that matter), Nick Young will play defense (LOL), or Brandon Bass will average anything close to 10rpg.

PF - Brandon Bass ( probably gets hurt too )
C - Roy Hibbert ( Lakers new scapegoat )

bench

Kobe deserves one more miracle run because he was robbed in 2013...

but it's not gonna happen.
because, real life.

at best, it would be nice to see him in the playoffs in 8th vs. Spurs one last time...

I would start Clarkson & Russell at the start of the season. I'd be cautious to let Kobe, who had 3 career-threatening injuries in a row, start and then chuck away for personal reasons.

I didn't like the Russell over Okafor pick, but they should make the best of the situation and that's surely not Kobe putting up 26/5/6 - as you call it best case scenario - when everybody knows this would be on 26 shots.

Rediculous that you think Kobe will average 26/5/5 or whatever.
The man shouldn't be asked to play more than 25 MPG, IMO.
He has battled serious injuries and is aging. Let him finish his career on a high note and not on the sidelines again.

Russell, Kobe, Young, Randle, Hibbert

Bench: Lou, Clarkson, Bass
After that, it gets depressing.
This team will suck again and I hope they do.

Best case scenario is winning the lottery while seeing visible improvements in the youngsters. I don't want to make the playoffs as the 7th or 8th seed just to get swept by the top teams out west. We don't have the experience on this squad or a healthy Kobe. I'd be shocked if we win 35 games, SHOCKED.

Only way we win anywhere close to 35 games is if Russell, Randle & Clarkson become centralized players on the team; and it isn't really fair for us to expect that from them yet.
