Most companies will have insurance packages that include orthotics. Havent spent my own money on dress shoes since like high school cuz parents' benefits and now my own benefits. Get whatever style you like and get a custom made insole for free:pimp:

Definitely cole haans. They even have some with nike soles. I have some allen edmonds and while they are better looking than my cole haans, they are very uncomfortable.

Get some roomy dress shoes and spend another $15-$20 on insoles from UGG.

Also, you're welcome.

Kind of weak to have to get soles for dress shoes.

The number 1 rule for dress shoes is to buy a proper fit. But from what I'm seeing is maybe it's just me. The uncomfortable area I get from dress shoes is around the ankles and with the haglund bump, not my soles.

Yeah, definitely been quality fits. My last two buys we're Cole haans. I usually rotate between two pairs, I kinda want to try another brand. While Style is important, I'm on my feet walking around all day so its also important they are comfortable. I have a nice pair of Donald pliners that are extremely comfortable but I don't want to wear them out as my work shoes.

Rocksports are the most comfortable dress shoes but i don't like most of their style looks. they feel like tennis shoes tho. i don't like the feel of Cole Haans but i feel that way about moss dress shoes, they're never that comfortable. i have a hard time finding good shoes these days.

I like Bostonian, they got like gel or air packs in them like a sneaker but are all classy and shit like a dress shoe.

Not ideal for full formal, but for going to the office or wearing a suit in the day to day shit, they all right.

Highly recommend these Ecco - Windsors

So ridiculously comfortable. Have held up great for a little over 3 years. I'll buy another pair as soon as these finally decide to bite the dust, they've shown no signs yet.

I have a pair of Josef Seibels, and while dressy, they aren't near as comfortable. Get you some of those Ecco's, you won't regret it.

I'd also recommend not skimping on the dress socks.

Polo makes a nice thick dress sock that is worth the extra $. I actively seek them out in my sock drawer.
