View Full Version : Do you think T Mac would've been satisfied if he had won a title with the Spurs in 13

Even though he played like no role in their run?
I would think a guy who was once that great would've wanted to do it while being the man or at the very least being a very prominent role player.

Tmac = bad luck for Spurs (see 5pt lead with 28 sec disappear and 13 pts in 35 sec)

Those games have nothing to do with the Spurs being chokers, huh

I fail to see how anyone can call a team that has won 5 rings chokers - you win some and you lose some over a 18 year period. So what, they were chokers in 2013 but not in 2014?

Brah, come on, that was the biggest choke/collapse in Finals history

THOSE GAMES you dimwit.

Yes, and the next year was the most dominant (statistics-wise) team performance in NBA history. Same team.
THOSE GAMES you dimwit.
I obviously view them from a more holistic point of view than isolated periods. Anyways, from a Spur fan point of view: T-Mac = bad karma. Hope he mentored Kwahi a bit in his time there.

It would've been better than nothing but in terms of helping his legacy, it would've meant almost nothing as a fringe bench player who barely played.

50 years later people will know he has a ring, but won't remember how he got it

The people who follow the game would.

"T-Mac has the same amount of rings as LeBron"
Can't believed we missed out on that GOLD from kobe stans had it happened.
Too bad Manu and especially Tim choked like children. :oldlol:

I remember on Open Court he said with 30 seconds left in Game 6 he was thinking about how he was going to celebrate and pour the champagne :oldlol:
