And think about how this forum is all about Lebron and Kobe. Kobe stans troll Lebron stans, that gives more life to Lebron stans and Lebron stans troll Kobe stans, that gives more life to Kobe stans. Who cares about regular season - the playoffs is what matters and the Bulls were a 2nd Round team without MJ, after being a 3-peat dynasty with MJ.

That's the biggest decline ever when a star player leaves the team (3-peat to 2nd Round - yeah, you have to actually 3-peat first to fall that far).. MJ verified his 3-peat to 2nd Round impact by coming back and returning the Bulls to 3-peat glory in his first full season.. What more can you ask for.

Also, always remember that MJ put the Bulls in that position in 1994.

Certainly, if MJ had retired in 1989 instead, the Bulls would've been a lottery team headed into the 1990 season, instead of ECF veterans and 1 season away from starting their 1st three-peat.. By 1994, they would've been a totally different team - obviously, they wouldn't be defending, 3-peat champions and capable of executing at a 3-peat level, or anywhere NEAR that level.
