Best Defensive Player of Summer League
Austin Peters of "Upside & Motor" blog believes Willie was the Defensive Player of Summer League.

Finishing with 2.8 blocks per game, Willie Cauley-Stein posted very impressive defensive numbers during the Kings five-game Summer League stretch.

Austin Peters, who writes for "Upside & Motor," which is a blog in the Fansided and HP Basketball Network, believes he was the best that Summer League had to offer.

"Willie has some of the best defensive instincts and physical tools of any center that I've ever seen," wrote Peters. "He not only can stick to guys on the perimeter, but is also great at helping just at the right time."

Peters continues by saying, "He gives Sacramento something that they haven’t had in a long time: a legit rim protector they can build their defense around."

Said it since mid January, he is a physical freak, and will have a long career given his rim protecting abilities.

Agreed. He may end up being the best in the draft or at least second best.

and George Karl said something like --- Oh I don't usually play rookies but he has a chance to play.

That's high praise indeed, he might get in the game.

I don't watch a lot of college ball so I was really surprised by his passing ability, and he showed glimpses of an offensive game better than how they described in draft evaluations. But this guy is gonna get badly injured the way he plays at that height. His longevity in the NBA doesn't look good.

Undefeated in the playoffs 10 years in a row Kings are about to be.
