He shouldn't. US won the same tournament 2 years ago and will play in a playoff match of the winner this tourny to see who advances to the Confederations Cup. Besides that he's done a good job imo. Won the 2013 Gold Cup, played really well in last years world cup, brought in many different players and changed the dynamics of the NT. I think pundits hate on him because they see him as arrogant, too experimental with a constant stream of new players every game and the omission of Donovan on last years WC squad which many people still hold a grudge for. I get it Donovan is the poster boy and Americans need to always find the "superstar" but Klinnsman had a strategy and Donovan didn't cut it.. I too was upset with Donovan being left off the squad but after watching them play last world cup I knew why he was left out, Klinnsman needed the players who bust their ass for the whole match to compete.

As for today US played well today and were a bit unfortunate to allow two goals on set pieces. They came back and dominated the match until Johanson was set off for Alan Gordon who shouldn't be on the World Cup(One of the cons of JK with his weird call ups)
