That explains why he wasn't scared when Lebron was about to kick his ass

Dude isn't scared of death

So he used to train 18 hours a day and only managed to become a scrub?

damn, the lesson here is that you can't be the best by practicing.

No sht. Talent supersedes all at the end. There are millions of nikkas out there practicing and training harder than Bynum or Odom in their final seasons that will never sniff an NBA D-League court

Basically.

Mirza grew up during the Bosnian war. Dude has seen people die around him. You think some asterisk ridden bitch like LeBron* barking at him is going to give him a scare?

After being down 3-1 to San Antonio:

"It's basketball," Lebron said. "I understand it's the media and the sport is the greatest sport in the world. I love it. It's done so many great things for me, but it's just basketball. It's just basketball."

It is just basketball though.

You're the unhealthy one.

not the point, trying to highlight the difference between the top players in the nba and regular guys.

Sanders has legitimate issues though. If he wasn't happy playing in the NBA he has every right to leave.

He made like $3M. 10 lifetimes and 40 working years in each. That's $7500 per year. You basically called that dude a broke bitch.

Yup. Are the NBA players the best in the world? Yes. But that's because they hit the genetic lottery and were blessed with a certain height and athleticism. There's a reason why most players in the league are 6'4" or taller. There are plenty of regular ballers all around the world just as skilled as NBA players but they just didn't have the height/athleticism to compete at the highest level.

I think many of them could play in the NBA. The difference is scouts have shifted their recruitment process more towards athleticism in the last 20 years. A no skill, athletic/size player can be molded into a 3D guy or something (high floor )while a high skill player might not translate at all to the next level (high bust potential; low floor; high ceiling).

Why do you think this is necessary?

Maybe some of them but most of them can't. They just won't be able to overcome the disparity in height/length/athleticism. A guy can make the perfect move against an NBA player and get his shit swatted almost every time. Skills only take you so far at the NBA level if you are short and unathletic.

For those that need to understand more, Mirza grew up in during a war where people he knew were dying everyday:

Yeah, I guess he could have directed his passion towards killing people in the civil war that started when he was 7. He lived through a year and a half long siege when he was just a kid.

What makes basketball pointless? We all die, I guess everything is pointless.

I respect a man who isn't afraid to die.
