I haven't listened to half of those crews more than once or twice, so I can't give a good analysis of the rest of the list, but I don't get the Jim Barnett hate.

The guy provides great, detailed analysis every game and uses A LOT less cliches. He'll point out techniques that guys are using when you may not have noticed it, such as when Curry uses another defender as a screener or when Steph plays defense a certain way to force a player into a weakness... you don't see that with other analysts, who just spew the same cliches over and over

I have no problem with Boston being where they are.

Tommy could be so much better but he's so caught up in the shtick of being a bellicose "gives no f*cks" old man at this point...there's no going back for him. Its a shame too; in his lucid moments (when he's not comparing Kelly Olynyk to Dirk Nowitzki or saying that Greg Stiemsma blocks shots like Bill Russell used to) he breaks down the X's and O's better than damn near anybody. Then he blows his top over free throw numbers and I just have to mute my television until its over.

Gorman, to me, is one of the best play-by-play guys in the business...but Tommy's insanity drags him down.

Horrible list. Beyond horrible, actually. The dude who wrote it needs to be fired. Minny, Magic, Houston, and a couple of others have TERRIBLE broadcasters. Miami is top 5 for sure. Unbiased and those dudes get excited for the other team as well. Not to mention the constant stories and stats they keeps giving out.

it's also sort of dumb how these rankings (across multiple sports) always seem to use a 1 game sample size, though this guy does seem aware of older stories with some of the crews.
