Anthony Randolph is on the team!!!

How is he playing? Is he any better than before he got cut from the NBA? I'm surprised no one wants an athletic 7 footer with great skills and who puts up numbers quickly.

Because he is Javale McGee level of stupidity.... Does not play within a team concept. He does not compete every game. He is pretty much a "me first" player.

Shall I go on?

Talent only gets you so far.

He's the MVP, leading scorer but looks lost on defense

They were down in their last game as well and still won by 23, winning the third 26-9. There's still a lot of time.

Ryan Hollins is their best player, that should tell you something.

He is in his own little basketball world. Warriors drafted him and even though he's mad talented, there is something off with him. Dubs fan thought it was Nellie's fault but clearly he has issues since he's not playing for any NBA team.

US didnt win the last one either. They didn't even medal. I just checked and the squad in 2011 was all D-Leaguers :oldlol:

Meanwhile, Canada and Bennett/Nicholson are 3-0 and dominating.

Anthony Bennett looking mad trim...this team was set up for him to build confidence, with Nicholson as the only other NBAer. Jamal Murray (HSer, Kentucky recruit) is averaging near 20ppg,, kid is going to be a top 5 pick next year. I hoep they keep him for the Olympic qualifiers and he gets to play with Wiggins, Thompson, CoJo, Stauskas, Olynyk, Sacre(if he makes it), etc. http://assets1.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/09097868-640x360.jpg

Canada vs USA in the semis. I have a bad feeling about this, I fear USA rises to the occasion and beats us. Our national team hasn't won a meaningful game since 2000, and this team is hardly our top twelve.

My hopes is that we do win and Bennett builds confidence and gets his shit together. He has potential to be an upper tier PF if he can put it together.

Hopefully he will be a back up on the qualifying squad (kid is mad alpha):

C: Olynyk, Anthony, Sacre? Bhullar?
PF: TT, Nicholson, Bennett
SF: Wiggins, Murray, Melvin Ejim? Kyle Wiltjer?
SG: Stauskas, Carl English?, Dillon Brooks? Daniel Mullings?
PG: CoJo, Ennis, Junior Cadougan?

NBA Rookies who can play in 2016: Trey Lyles, Olivier Hanlon
