Here's my position.

I am former Marine, an MP, with 5 expert rifle and 5 expert pistol badges. The ratings go marksman, sharpshooter, with expert being the highest. That means, not only was I an MP, but I am a pretty good shot as well. I am 100% confident in my abilities with a pistol, and my decision making under pressure.

In your little world, you may think the first thing a CC holder would do is stand up and start blasting in all directions, but that's ignorant and would never be the case. I can count on one hand how many CC holders have accidentally shot someone, because most CC holders know better than to put others in MORE danger.

What would transpire would depend on a lot of things. The distance I am from the shooter, where is his attention, is he above me or below me, what's in front/behind him, can I hit center mass from this distance, what direction is the crowd running?

Hell, I may not even shoot depending on if he still had the ability to hurt more people.

It's not as simple as 'there's a shooter, Im going to shoot him first'. You must watch a lot of movies.

But believe me, navy, if you were in that theater, and I happen to have a gun on me, I'd do whatever I could to save you too. It's just the way I am.

Most tellingly, before committing a so-called “lone wolf” act of violence, Houser wrote extensively about being a “lone wolf”: “I do not want to discourage the last hope for the best, but you must realize the power of the lone wolf, is the power that come forth in ALL situations,” Houser wrote on a forum dedicated to the New York chapter of Golden Dawn. “Look within yourselves.”

Black people committed close to 16% of the mass shooting Mother Jones looked at, while Asians were responsible for around 9%. People identified as either Latino, Native American and unknown rounded out the study.
