Exactly...what the f@ck? This piss ant, waste of space got my interest perked for nothing (thought of course not...this is rich so who could take what he says with any serious?)...the sonics franchise moving to Okc is one of the biggest travesties ever in sports.

Seattle is a nice city.
They should have a team again, it will probably be the Bucks or Wolves.

It'll be neither. Bucks are getting a new arena and there's no reason for the TWolves to move.

Oh right, forgot about the Bucks arena. Then it will be the Wolves.
Why should the Wolves stay ? It's not like they've got some winning history or have done anything out of the KG era.

Can't wait to see Atlanta take a step back next season
No fans (besides delusional Raptors fans --- WE THE NORTH lmfao) are worse than Hawks fans
Hawks should have thought about changing their name before they got an arena. Atlanta Treadmills sounds just about right.
What is hilarious is Atlanta has been known as one of the WORST fan bases in terms of support and attendance in the last 10 years.
Even with the team doing great, games were still empty last season and this was reported on by multiple people, ESPN, Bill Simmons, Jalen/Jacoby.
So before you start celebrating keeping your team why not try to rally some of your fellow Hawks fans to actually ATTEND a game.

It's not a matter of should they or shouldn't they though imo. I don't think moving teams because they haven't been good or have incompetent front offices is the right direction. And it's not like they're the Nets with pretty much zero future, they have arguably the best young core among lottery teams. I think the only way Seattle is going to rip a team from another city is through arena deals falling through, extreme financial circumstances, etc. Either that or expansion. Silver has said as much, he doesn't like the idea of teams leaving unless they absolutely have to.

Much of this is true, although the Sonics did leave when they had Durant and then drafted Westbrook.
I can't see anymore expansion teams, the league is too big as it is. Seattle might be out of luck, but a relocation can happen too if it's got bad ownership. That could be a reason where a team must leave but I don't see a Vancouver situation, as bad as the Wolves and Kings have been.

Ok, now I remember them. My friend was able to get courtside seats to a conference finals game for like $200 bucks. You can't even get a nose bleed ticket for that much for most real NBA teams.

I can't ever recall a team with home court advantage getting SWEPT in a playoff series, much less the conference finals.
Hawks stay winning doe.

Oh you've wounded me. You're stuck a dagger into the hearts of all Hawks fans with your venomous rant, I'm questioning my very fanhood and even the will to keep living here. Didn't your mother ever tell you to be careful about what you say because words can hurt people?
So well written too, you really should take your talents off this NBA forum and into the offices of Comedy Central's roast team.
Rich is just stoned again, the Hawks are NOT moving to Seattle and no article even says that. The owners are thinking about looking to build a new arena IN ATLANTA, which is a really stupid idea on its own considering Philips is only 16 years old and the Braves and Falcons are building new stadiums as we speak. Hopefully this is just a ploy to get the city to help chip in for some renovations to Philips.

It's funny that during the regular season, OP was sincerely confused as to why people didnt like Hawk fans. Definitely a telling sign of aspergers.

True. People are PISSED that the Hawks did well this year. Broke the entire mold of what it takes to be a successful team and people just can't wrap their heads around it so they lash out in hate trying to make sense of it however they can

That is 100% pure unadulterated bullshit, you're either a shitty troll for trying to get people to believe that or the biggest idiot in the world for believing your friend's lie
You're either too young to have any idea of what tickets cost or too poor to know what prices outside the cheap seats look like.
You couldn't get courtside seats at a regular season game for any less than $750.

Atlanta, Philly, Detroit all had courtside tickets for cheap as hell last year
I sat front row at the Pistons game next to the bench (one preseason and one regular season game) both games i paid $400 for 2 tickets with unlimited beer/wine/food.
My friend, who lives in Atlanta, sat 2nd row courtside, center row, for $250 for two tickets
Now I don't know what the prices were for the conference finals but let's not sit here and pretend Atlanta, who has one of the worst attendance numbers in the league, have sky high courtside seat prices.
Maybe it's you who doesn't know how to utilize Craigslist, eBay, and Stubhub to find dirt cheap tickets hours before game time

Again that's 100% bullshit and I defy you to find ANY proof of $250 seats for TWO courtside or second row seats. I guarantee you won't, because your 'friend' who did it is either non-existant or lying to you.
LOL at you telling me I don't know about "craigslist" or "ebay" seats. You even saying that you can find courtside seats for that cheap on those two ****ing sites tells me that you have NO ****ing idea of what good seats go for in this town or any town really.
I can guarantee you I've been to more games and sat in better seats than you EVER have if you think those ludicrous seat prices are anything resembling actual ticket prices.
I'm not going to sit here and act like we have the best fans in the league or anything, but for you to compare some preseason garbage Detroit seats to actual regular season Hawks seats is utterly absurd.
I went to probably 20 games last season, I have a VERY good idea of what tickets cost and your pathetic rant does nothing to change the fact of what tickets actually go for here or probably in any town. You can get cheap tickets here yes, but nothing resembling the bullshit you're spewing.
